Om de Noord camping site A fun, family atmosphere prevails at Om de Noord. There is ample space for children to play and make lots of new friends. Meanwhile you can relax with the newspaper on your spacious plot, or … have a cup of coffee with the neighbours. Om de Noord is a camping site for young and old alike. Many guests return every year. We are at your service to ensure a memorable camping experience. That's why there's a children's play area for the little ones, as well as fun activities run by the recreation team. Parents can enjoy time to themselves while the children are entertained. Enjoy the peace and space of your comfortable plot, or allow yourself to be talked into a game of football on the sports field. Anything goes! Facilities close by Do your daily shopping, head into the woods, or look for shells on the beach. Everything is within walking distance. Om de Noord lies on the edge of De Koog. There are comprehensive shopping facilities in the resort. There is no shortage of good restaurants and great outdoor cafés. Directions Om de Noord lies to the north of De Koog. The camping site is easily accessible by car and public transport. By car Travel to Den Helder via the A7 and/or N9. Directions to the ferry are clearly indicated. … On Texel, follow the signs towards De Koog. Once in town, keep right. Continue along Nikadel. Turn left after Super De Boer. Turn right at the junction with Boodtlaan. After a few hundred metres you'll see FC De Koog's football field with a road off to your left, which takes you to the central reception of De Shelter and Om de Noord where you can sign in. You can also plan your route via www.routenet.nl Enter Om de Noord's address: Boodtlaan 80, 1796 BG, De Koog. By public transport Take the train to Den Helder. From the station take bus route 33 to the ferry. We would advise you to book a Texel Telekomtaxi at the counter in Den Helder. You can also take bus 28 on Texel. Validate your ticket in Den Helder ahead of your journey to De Koog. Alight at the Nikadel stop and follow the road to the junction with Boodtlaan, then turn right. After a few hundred metres turn left in the direction of the FC De Koog football field where you'll find the central reception for De Shelter and Om de Noord.
